Drop Off Procedures

Please take a moment to review our morning drop-off procedures before the first day of school!

First Day Only: Parents are welcome to walk their child(ren) into the building if they would like. This is completely optional—you are also welcome to use our normal car drop-off line. Starting on Monday, August 10th, students will walk in independently (assistance will be available if needed).

Morning Traffic Flow

• ALL morning drop-off traffic must enter from Pat Dixon Road (next to the JDPS brick sign).

• Do NOT enter from Broxton Hwy during morning drop-off!

Drop-Off Process

• Enter from Pat Dixon Road and remain in ONE single line of traffic.

• Pull all the way to the front entrance of the school.

• Our staff will be there to safely assist your child with exiting the vehicle.

• After your child exits, continue following the single traffic lane back to Pat Dixon Road. (see map below)

For everyone's safety, please DO NOT pass other vehicles in line.

We know this is a brand-new campus and a new routine for everyone. We appreciate your patience and cooperation as we work together to ensure a safe and smooth arrival for all of our students. We can't wait to welcome everyone to JDPS!
